Was Braq Obama's list of promises a "bucket list" or more like Santa's list checking it once checking it twice?
Santa has a pretty good racket he can change his list at will, based on naughty or nice factors. I think Obama is the same way he will always blane the lack of deliverance on extenuating circumstances, like Bush caused me to give Billions to Wall St Bankers.
It was a "progressive" wish list to make him have a "legacy." The problem is that this socialist list is wrong for the country and we don’t want that sh*t!

First of all, it was Bush who gave away the billions. Obama has simply continued the Bush policy of propping up the financial sector. It’s natural to blame Bush for the economic problems because he caused them. Hopefully, the Santa list is what it will turn out to be and it won’t be the coal we got from Bush.

That is why americans prefer to vote for politicians who make no claims, do not even claim to know what they are talking about and mess it up, rather than vote for someone who looks for the best they can do and more, and will not be able to fulfill their promises because the other side simply cares about getting one over, rather than the actual good of the country.
If you want a rubbish president, then you get one. If you get a good one and you prevent him from doing anything, then you don’t get good either.
WHy does america want to fail? I do not understand it.
You seem to like bad presidents who know how to big themselves up. Bush caused the economic crisis. Yet everyone in the republican party blames Obama for the republican messed up situation.
Typical nonsense, what has changed since the days of McCarthy’s witch hunts which were based upon the fantasy of a man, rather than the reality? Nothing!

Plot: After an airplane trip, a young woman asks Susie’s husband, Sam, to keep a doll for her to avoid spoiling the surprise of her daughter’s gift. But the real reason is to avoid her partner, Harry Roat, whom she hopes to cheat of the drugs hidden in the doll. Harry discovers her treachery, murders her and leaves the body in Susie’s apartment, where he has tracked Sam and the doll. He concocts an elaborate plan, involving Mike and Carlino, small-time hoods, to get Susie, who recently lost her sight in a fire, to reveal the doll’s hiding place. They lure Sam away and take advantage of Susie’s blindness, posing as an old friend, a police detective, and a father-son pair of eccentrics. Separated… Should I even try and find the truth?
Around my b-day in 2008, my wife started acting a little funny. All of a sudden our once per month out alone with friends started turning into every other weekend for her which at first I was fine with as she had been diagnosed with some pretty severe depression (which later found it to be manic) so for a few months I figured she needed out of the house a more and to let loose as she stayed home with kids everyday.
Eventually, I started REALLY wondering after she asked to go out on a night that I had been home sick from work. I was truly sick so I sincerely asked her to please stay home this night and maybe tomorrow I would feel up to caring for our kids. She got very angry at me and threw everything possible at me to make me feel like a terrible husband so I told her to go. This was my red flag.
That entire week thoughts raced through my head as this was not normal behavior for my wife so I started talking to friends. Of course they filled my head with ’she is cheating.’ So that friday I stopped off at good old Sprint and activated a phone that had the GPS tracking included, of course they give you 2 weeks to try it and you can return it, no big deal. Well I planted this phone in her car as I knew she was going to want to go out. May sound crazy, but I wanted answers and she wasn’t offering. I planned with my own mother for her to come watch the kids while my cousin and I left that night to track the ‘trick’ phone which worked like a charm!
We pulled up at a house and her car was parked outside. No one was home, it was dark so we waited for about 30 minutes until a truck pulled up. The truck was her step brothers and out stepped my wife, her step brother, step sister and her boyfriend. I looked at my cousin and said, well I guess this is a good thing thinking nothing of the situation, it was her STEP brother.
The behavior kept on which began eating me from the inside out so of course I started asking her friends which I too was friends with. Her best friend gave me the hint because she knew what was happening and felt terrible for me, but would not give me names. Of course, freaking out by this discovery I begin talking with my wife’s oldest step brother whom also confirmed that something was going on. I thought, why am I the only one that doesn’t know…Of course he wouldn’t come out and say it, but I ended up guessing from a list of past boyfriends with negatives for the response from him. It was then that it dawned on me…It ended up being his little brother, my wife’s step brother! My life flipped upside down. I left for 2 weeks before coming home and confronting a very apologetic wife that swore it would never happen again. It did. I lived for almost a year knowing what she was doing but tried to be there for my kids.
Of course I finally left as I could no longer live in the same house as her, kids or not. We split for about 4 months before she came to her senses and realized what she had done and she begged me to come home and work things out. I did, family means the world to me. She started treating me like total crap after about a month of coming back home before I finally said ENOUGH and left this December and got an apartment.
I know that this one time with her step brother was enough for me to leave her, but things have surfaced that lead me to believe that she had been with 1 possibly 2 more men during our relationship so I asked her sincerely tonight to rid herself of the guilt, fess up to me so I can try to begin looking at her with some respect by simply coming clean with what she had done. She blew me off.
Does it make any sense to any of you that I would want to hear the truth from the mother of my kids in an attempt to hear the truth leave her lips so I can complete the healing process, move on and try and rebuild at least a respectful mother and father of our kids type of relationship? I don’t know why it is so important to me to know and try to understand the truth. After she ruined my life and my family I feel I deserve that, but do I want to know or should I leave it alone at 1 was enough?
Thanks for reading this long post.
Yes, it makes sense. In one way you are moving on, but the only thing you are missing is the fact she cannot just tell you the truth. She has nothing to lose now, but her pride, and even that she doesn’t have because she’s blown it so many times and you’re not stupid.
No one is in your shoes and you got to do what you got to do. If her admitting what she did makes you feel better, than that’s good. I think deep down you know, but it’s different to hear it from the source.
Good luck to you, I hope you do heal and the next woman that comes along treats you right!
Truth Hurts | Feb 03, 2010
What you’re looking for is closure. That’s not too much to ask for but chances are she’ll never give it. Try to let it go and continue to move on. Maybe if she thinks you’ve lost interest in the truth all together some day she ‘ll tell you. If not just cut your losses and try to be there for your kids.

i need help with my global essay please?
A Golden Age is when a civilization goes through a time of peace and stability. No wars are fought and people have time to think. Two examples of this are the Gupta Empire and the Han Dynasty. Throughout history, civilizations in different regions and at a different time experience a Golden Age. These Golden Ages had tremendous impacts on later civilizations.
Two important subjects that the Han Dynasty brought for us were the plow and the watermill. Once the plow was perfected, it helped with rudder and shipbuilding. The watermill was used to grind grains. They also built roads, canals, and bridges. The civil service exam was brought back and there were harsh punishments. The reasons why this empire collapsed were because rich people took over poor ones, people got greedy and selfish, it got too big to control, large land owners didn’t have to pay tax, there wasn’t any royalty for emperors, and roads were not cared for.
A couple of the most important subjects that the Gupta empire provided for us were mathematical and scientific discoveries. These were the people that figured out how big the moon was. They found out that the earth was round and understood gravity. These were the first people that used a number system based on 10. They also came up with zero, infinity, and algebraic equations. The destruction of this empire was due to the fact that there were wars, weak rulers, and foreign invaders.
What are ways that people from the Gupta and Han Dynasty take affect on what you do today? In our past, civilizations have experience points where they can just relax and have peace and stability. Think about how proud these inventors would have been to see their inventions come in use today and see how we are using these. Whenever you look at planets, thank the Indians. Thank the Chinese when you see highways, watermills, and plows.
Thesis: Throughout history, civilizations in different regions and at different times experience a Golden Age, These Golden Ages have had tremendous impact on later civilizations.
I had to:
.Define Golden Age
.Identify 2 civilizations/regions that has experienced a Golden Age
.Discuss 2 contributions/ achievements of that particular regions
.Explain the impact of each contribution to history and later civilizations
.Address ALL aspects of the task
.Support the theme with relevant facts, examples, and details
.Use a logical and clear plan of organization
.Introduce the theme by establishing a framework that is beyond a simple restatement of the task and conclude with a summation of the theme.
Be honest! What can I do to make this its best? Thanks
A Golden Age is when a time when a civilization is in peace, and in economic stability. Throughout history, civilizations in different regions and at a different time experience a Golden Age. These Golden Ages had tremendous impacts on later civilizations. Two prefect examples of Golden Age are the Gupta Empire in India and the Han Dynasty, in China.
****Since you first listed the Gupta Empire, the first paragraph should be about it. ***
The most important discoveries that the Gupta Empire provided to us were advances in mathematics and science. Indians of the Gupta Empire were the first to figure out the size of the moon, the spherical shape of the Earth and its gravity. They were the first people to use a number system based on 10. Furthermore in mathematics they developed the concept of zero, infinity, and other algebraic equations. The Gupta Empire was destroyed due to wars, weak rulers, and foreign invaders.
Two important subjects that the Han Dynasty brought for us were the plowing tools and the watermill. Once plowing was perfected, it helped with rudder and shipbuilding. The watermill was used to grind grains, and therefore have a better food supply. The Han Dynasty also had the first roads, canals, and bridges. Another, achievement was bringing back of the civil service exam. The major reasons why this empire collapsed were because rich people took over poor ones, people got greedy and selfish, it became too big so controlling it was very difficult. Other reasons include large land owners didn’t have to pay tax, there wasn’t any royalty for emperors, and roads were not cared for.
In our past, civilizations have experience points where they can just relax and have peace and stability. Think about how proud these inventors would have been to see their inventions come in use today and see how we are using these. Whenever you look at planets, thank the Indians and thank the Chinese when you see highways, watermills, and plows.

thnx for opening and answering!
I’vee seen both movies but never read any of the books.
the first movie was better than the sequel, because sequels usually tend to not be as good as the originals, and the actors seemed like they didn’t want to be in the sequel, it fell flat plot wise.
i liked Alexis Bledel’s Lena she seemed the most real and was a sweetheart and Amber Tamblyn’s Tibby she was a firecracker and sarcastic smart mouth.
favorite scene in the first movie was Lena falling for Costas and being dragged away from him by her grandmother and grandma dunking her head in water, favorite Tibby scene is when she found out Bailey died and started crying that was heartbreaking.
